Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of botconfirmed. By creating an account you agree to them. In these terms, "botconfirmed", "we" and "us" mean the business that runs botconfirmed.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.

What botconfirmed does

botconfirmed books golf tee times for you at your own club. You give us your club login and tell us when you want to play. When your club releases tee times, our software signs in as you, picks a time inside the windows you set, books it, and checks the booking against the club's own records. A tee time is a reservation with your club. It is not a reservation with us, and we are not affiliated with your club or its booking software.

Your account and your club login

You tell us to act for you, and you authorize us to use the club login you save to sign in to your club's booking site, check that the login works, read the pages we need (the tee sheet and your bookings), and book on your behalf. You confirm that the login is yours and that you are allowed to give it to us. You are responsible for your club account and for everything done through it, and for keeping your botconfirmed password to yourself.

If you change your password at the club, your bots stop working until you update the login in botconfirmed. You can remove a saved login at any time by deleting the bot or your account.

Your club's rules

You are responsible for following your club's bylaws, rules and booking site terms. That includes anything your club says about automated booking, booking limits, guests, cancellations and no-shows. Some clubs may not allow automation. If you are not sure, ask your club before you add it. We do not get around a club's limits, and if the club's site refuses a booking we tell you why. botconfirmed is not responsible for fees, penalties, suspensions or any other action your club takes against you. If a club or its software provider asks us to stop, we may stop booking at that club.

No guarantee of a tee time

We try hard to get you a time, but we cannot promise one on any given day. Clubs change their sites, rules, release times and availability without telling us. Their systems go down, and other members are booking at the same moment. If we cannot book a time in your window, you are not charged a booking fee. Check your club's tee sheet. You are the one who has to show up.

When a booking counts

After we book, we look the booking up on the club's own site (the tee sheet or your bookings page). A booking counts as confirmed when we can verify it that way. We then email you with a screenshot of the club's page as proof. If we cannot verify a booking from the club's own records, we do not charge a fee for it unless we later confirm it ourselves. Test runs never book and are always free.

Plans and fees

Each plan has a monthly access fee and a fee for each verified booking.

• Single: $9 a month plus $7 per verified booking. 1 bot.
• Member: $15 a month plus $5 per verified booking. Up to 3 bots.
• Pro: $29 a month plus $3 per verified booking. Up to 5 bots.

The pricing page always shows the current prices. Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. If we are required to collect sales tax or a similar tax, we add it and show it on your invoice.

Booking fees are added to your next monthly bill. They are charged only for bookings we verified, and not for runs that found no time or failed. Green fees, cart fees, guest fees and club dues are paid to your club, not to us.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. Your plan renews every month on the card you gave Stripe until you cancel.

Each plan allows a number of active bots. If you move to a smaller plan, or choose a plan on an account that already has more bots than it allows, we pause your newest bots until you are within the limit, and we email you when that happens.

If a payment fails, your bots are paused until the card is fixed. Stripe retries the payment for a while and we email you.

Free trial

Your first plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start. You pay no access fee during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends you pay no access fee at all. Bookings we verify during the trial still carry the booking fee, and those fees are billed to your card even if you cancel before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, your plan continues and your card is charged the monthly access fee when the trial ends. There is one trial per person. Deleting your account and signing up again does not start a new one.

Private beta

botconfirmed is in private beta, and signup is by invite. Invited members may get a free period, 30 days unless your invite says otherwise, and we will tell you before it ends. While the service is in beta it can change or break. We will do our best to tell you when it does.

Cancelling a plan

You can cancel, change plans and update your card from Account, then Billing. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current billing period, and your plan stays active until then. Access fees for a period already started are not refunded. Booking fees for tee times we booked before you cancelled are billed on a final invoice. Deleting your account cancels your plan right away, with the same final invoice for unbilled booking fees and no refund of the access fee.

No refunds for club-side cancellations

If you cancel a tee time at your club after we booked it, or your club or pro shop moves or removes it, the booking fee stays. We did the job: we booked the time and verified it. The same goes for a no-show. Tee times are changed and cancelled with your club. We do not cancel them for you.

When we do credit a fee

We credit a fee when the mistake is ours: we charged you for a booking that was not made, or we charged you twice, or we charged the wrong amount. Email support@botconfirmed.com and we will look into it. When we agree, we take the fee off your next bill or credit it to your account.

Changing prices

We may change our prices. We will email you before a change takes effect, and it applies to billing periods that start after that. If you do not want the new price, you can cancel before it starts.

Using botconfirmed fairly

Use botconfirmed only with your own club membership, for your own play. Do not use it to hold or resell tee times, to get past a club's limits, to disrupt our service or a club's site, or to copy or reverse engineer what we built.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account. We may pause or close an account if you break these terms, if a club asks us to stop, or if payments fail and stay unpaid. What happens to your data when an account ends is in the Privacy Policy.

Our responsibility

botconfirmed is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or able to book at any particular club or on any particular day. We are not liable for a tee time you did not get, for what your club does in response to automated booking, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you or tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using botconfirmed after that, you accept the new terms.
